Can I get a printed copy of my course materials?

Hard copy course materials are provided for face-to-face training only as assignments are completed in writing. 

Distance Learning and Online/Livestream modalities are provided with e-copies of learning materials only.  You can request a hard copy of materials for these courses, this will be a cost of $275 exc GST.  Please notify us asap with your request so materials can be printed and distributed prior to the course commencing. 

Can I get an extension for any of the ACI nationally recognised courses?

Each student will be given a course end date, which is the date when all completed assignments must be submitted for assessment.  Extensions to the course end date may be granted under exceptional circumstances and requests must be made no later than 10 working days before the course end date.  Please refer to section 5 of the Assessment Policy and Procedures for more details. 

Do I have to be an ACI member to receive my course certificate?

No. If you have completed the course requirements satisfactorily you will receive your course certificate and nationally recognised qualification.  You cannot receive your ACI accreditation certificate unless you are a fee-paying member of ACI.

How can I pay for my Course?

We try to make it as convenient as possible for you to pay for your course. Please note your registration is not confirmed until full payment is received.

Online payments.  You can pay online via our website when you register for the course.

Offline payments. You can choose to pay offline when you register.  A tax invoice with payment options will be emailed to you.  

Payments via your workplace/other party.  Select ‘offline’ payment when you register, then you can send the tax invoice to your workplace for payment.  If you would like an invoice to have specific details please reach out to our accounts on accounts@compliance.org.au and they’ll be happy to help.

Payments via instalments. If you register for distance learning, you can pay for the course in instalments.

Certificate IV courses, you can pay the course fee in two instalments, half of the total per payment.

Graduate certificate courses can be paid in four instalments, a quarter of the total price.

How do I get a printed copy of my Certificate?

Certificates are provided as signed PDF copies only. If you would like a printed version, this will come at a cost of AUD $75.00 and will be sent during one of our quarterly print runs. If you’d like the printed copy, please let us know so we can provide you with an invoice and advise when the next print run will be.

How do I get my Certificate?

For students participating in nationally accredited training:

Once your required assessments have been marked by the assessor and you have returned a satisfactory result you will be awarded your certificate and statement of attainment. This will be emailed to you as a pdf.

If you are an ACI Member you will receive your Accreditation Certificate soon after you have completed your training.  This will be emailed to you as a pdf.

How do I unsubscribe from your marketing?

You can easily unsubscribe by clicking on ‘unsubscribe’ at the bottom of the marketing email you’ve received and following the prompts.

For members: you can change your marketing preferences at any time via your membership portal.  Just log in and access ‘preferences’ from the drop down list in your portal (top right of your screen if you’re on a desktop, via the blue ‘Membership’ button if you’re on a mobile).

How often do I need to renew my Membership?

ACI Memberships run to the financial year (July – June). You will receive a reminder to renew well before the end of the financial year.  Individual members can easily renew online.  Corporate members need to ensure their primary contact has renewed the corporate membership before the end of the financial period.  When you log into your member portal online it will show if your corporate membership has been renewed.  If you have any concerns please get in touch well before the renewal cut off date, as unpaid memberships can jeopardise your ACI Accreditation.

If I become a member, will I receive membership benefits immediately or is there a waiting period?

Once you become a paid member of the Australian Compliance Institute you get to enjoy all member benefits immediately.  There is no waiting period. To find out more about all the benefits we offer members, visit our Membership page.

Is a 10964NAT Compliance and Risk Management a natural lead in to the 10980NAT Graduate Certificate in Compliance and Risk Management?

The Certificate IV is a level 4 qualification on the Australian Qualifications Framework and sits below a Diploma (level 5), Advanced Diploma (level 6) and Degree (level 7).

The Graduate Certificate is a level 8 and is a postgraduate.

What does RTO mean?

Registered training organisations (RTOs) are providers and assessors of nationally recognised training that have been registered by the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA). Only RTOs can issue nationally recognised qualifications.

 The Australian Compliance Institute is an RTO (ID 91640). We have designed a complete training pathway in compliance and risk management for professionals at all stages of their compliance career.  We also offer a complete training pathway in anti-money laundering and financial crimes at the request of our members.

What is the time zone for your events, courses and discussion groups?

Our events, courses and discussion groups show local Sydney time and date on our website (AEDT or AEST) unless otherwise indicated. Please consider your time zone and make adjustments before registering.  You can always contact us with any questions at admin@compliance.org.au.
