CEO Update – September 29

Dear Members,

It’s an exciting time for the ACI as we prepare for several major events that bring our community together, showcase excellence, and strengthen the profession.

Annual Conference – 15–16 October 2025

In just a few weeks, we will gather in Melbourne for the ACI Annual Conference: Compliance Excellence for a Changing World. Over one and a half days, members will hear from more than 20 expert speakers, take part in interactive panels, and connect with colleagues from across the compliance community. From navigating regulatory change to tackling the ethical challenges of modern business, the conference offers valuable insights and CPD points for every member.

Following the first day of the Conference, we will come together for our National Awards Dinner in the stunning ballroom at Rydges Melbourne. The evening will be a celebration of innovation, leadership, and integrity across the compliance sector. If you haven’t already secured your seat or a corporate table, I encourage you to do so soon – it promises to be an inspiring night to recognise the achievements of our peers and colleagues.

Spotlight Session – Customer Hardship & Vulnerability

Looking ahead, our next Spotlight Session will focus on Customer Hardship and Vulnerability. This important discussion will take place on Thursday, 18 November 2025, and I encourage all members to save the date. The session will provide valuable insights into how compliance frameworks can support fair treatment and better outcomes for customers experiencing vulnerability.

As always, thank you for your continued engagement and support of the ACI. Together, we are strengthening compliance standards across industries and ensuring the profession continues to grow in influence and impact.
