Annette Donselaar | ACI Chair - ACI Fellow & Life Member

Annette Donselaar, based in Hong Kong, is a global compliance practitioner with nearly 30 years’ experience in insurance and financial services across Australia, Asia, Europe, South America, and the Middle East. She was General Counsel for Chubb Life for 11 years and previously served as SVP and Chief Compliance Officer at New York Life International. Annette has also held senior compliance roles at AIA, National Australia Bank, and ASIC. She holds bachelor’s degrees in Arts, Law (Honours), and Commerce; master’s degrees in Law; and multiple professional qualifications. A Fellow and Life Member of ACI, she is recognised for her global expertise.

Sarah Court | Deputy Chair - ASIC

Sarah has held senior statutory appointments across influential, economy-wide economic and corporate regulators for more than 17 years. She leads the Commission’s enforcement and investigation work, and contributes extensively to strategic priority setting, statutory decision-making and leadership across the agency. Her key focus areas include enforcement, scams, small business, insolvency, climate disclosure, and greenwashing. Sarah represents ASIC on significant national boards including the Council of Financial Regulators and the National Anti-Scam Centre Steering Group. Internationally, she participates in the OECD Committee for Financial Markets and Corporate Governance Committee. Previously, Sarah served three terms as an ACCC Commissioner and held senior roles at the Australian Government Solicitor, leading national teams in competition and consumer law, as well as administrative law, employment law and law enforcement litigation.

Catriona Lowe was appointed by the Governor General to the position of ACCC Deputy Chair for a 5-year term on 27 January 2023. On 19 June 2023 Catriona commenced as an Associate Member of the Australian Communications and Media Authority.

For over 20 years Catriona has had a strong commitment to consumer issues and protection of consumer rights in her varied roles as a regulator, litigator and consumer advocate.

Before joining the ACCC, Catriona was a Board Member of the Australian Energy Regulator from February 2020. She has also held a non-Executive director role on a range of boards, including the Australian Financial Complaints Authority, the Financial Adviser Standards and Ethics Authority and the Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman. Catriona was also principal of a consumer-focused consulting practice.

Over the years Catriona has worked extensively on matters involving consumer focused regulation, behavioural economics and effective enforcement and compliance. She has advocated for consumers across a range of markets including financial services, telecommunications and energy.

Catriona chairs the Compliance and Product Safety Committee, is the Deputy Chair of Commission, Digital ID and Consumer Data Right Committee, Scams and Digital Markets Committee, and Enforcement Committee, and is a member of the Energy Markets Board.

Catriona has a Bachelor of Laws from Northern Territory University (now Charles Darwin University).

Bryony is a technology, data and separation specialist for complex transactions with over 20 years’ experience. Alongside Bryony’s transactional, IP and technology practice, Bryony advises clients on data regulation (including privacy and cyber), data breach responses and broader data governance issues. Bryony has a deep interest in AI and generative AI, including regulatory developments and AI governance. Bryony was a co-author of the Australian Finance Industry Association (AFIA) Report on The Impact of AI on the Australian Finance Industry (May 2025) and co-authored sections of the Governance Institute of Australia Report Governance in the Age of Agentic AI (May 2026).

Jacob Elkhishin is a Partner in RSM Australia. He is the National Lead for ESG and Climate Services, and also the Global Chair. Jacob specialises in providing strategic ESG and Risk solutions, and is a Registered Greenhouse and Energy Auditor. Jacob provides services relating to climate reporting, sustainability reporting, strategy development, climate-risk management, sustainable finance and sustainability assurance.  Jacob is well versed in global ESG reporting frameworks, that includes the Global Reporting Initiative, IFRS/AASB S1 and S2 and the EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive.

Louise Lane is Principal and consultant at Lane Consulting & Advisory, providing tailored governance, risk, and compliance solutions across gaming, liquor, FMCG, and regulated industries. With senior leadership experience at Endeavour Group, Racing Victoria, Crown Resorts and Consolidated Media, Louise has led major compliance, legal, and risk functions, including AML/CTF programs and crisis management during COVID-19. Drawing on two decades in regulatory affairs and corporate governance, she now advises organisations with independent, pragmatic insights to strengthen frameworks and meet evolving obligations.

Heather is a Governance, Risk and Compliance advisor who links corporate behaviour to organisational culture and corporate capability. She is a proven ethics, governance and compliance/anti-financial crime strategist and change leader focused on positioning businesses to thrive in an environment of rapidly changing consumer expectations and regulatory and political requirements. Heather has built global AML/CTF, Sanctions and Financial Crimes teams, managed investigations and remediations with global reach and interacted with global regulators and authorities. Heather is Fellow, Life Member, and past Chair of the ACI. She was a Member of the Audit Committee for European Network of Integrity & Compliance Officers (ENICO) now merged with Institute of Business Ethics (IBE).

Emma Ringland GAICD is Head of Regulation and Investments at Endeavour Energy, where she leads regulatory strategy, pricing, economic policy, and investment governance. With two decades’ experience spanning energy, financial services, and legal practice in Australia and the UK, Emma is recognised for navigating complex regulatory environments and driving transformative outcomes. She is also a non-executive director and trustee across arts, sport, and community organisations, committed to fostering sustainable value for businesses, customers, and stakeholders.

Guy Boyd | Managing Director - Boyd Wellington

Guy is an experienced legal, risk, compliance and financial crime executive with deep expertise across international financial services. He is a Non-Executive Director on for-purpose and for-profit boards and Founder of Boyd Wellington Pty Ltd, a specialist financial crime, risk and compliance advisory business.

Guy spent nearly two decades at ANZ in senior legal, compliance and financial crime roles, including Chief Compliance Officer and Group General Manager Financial Crime. He led large, multi-jurisdictional teams, advised Boards, managed major regulatory and legal matters, and oversaw programs spanning AML/CTF, sanctions, anti-bribery and corruption, fraud, whistleblowing and integrity.

He has led complex matters involving regulators and law enforcement, including sanctions matters with the US Department of Treasury. He played a founding role in AUSTRAC’s Fintel Alliance and served on its Strategic Advisory Board.

Guy holds LLB, BCom and LLM (First Class Honours) degrees from the University of Melbourne.

Whilst Jeff has a natural digital and technology interest, he is a huge advocate of the importance of designing solutions that consider the people element.  When he is not passionately demonstrating the value to business success that good GRC can deliver, Jeff can be found tinkering with classic cars, spending time with his family and walking local trails with his dog.

A values-driven leader, My-Linh is known for uniting stakeholders to solve complex challenges and drive practical, strategic outcomes that balance effective risk management with commercial success.

Having started his career at ASIC, Nathan has over 20 years’ experience in regulatory compliance. As a Partner at KPMG, Nathan’s focus is on assisting his clients in navigating regulator interactions, including regularly acting as a regulator endorsed Independent Expert for Enforceable Undertakings, remediation programs, regulator notices and similar matters. Nathan has a financial services background but has assisted clients across all industries in managing their compliance obligations, implementing regulatory change, navigating regulator interactions and improving compliance arrangements.
